From Rock to Root: The Story of Cedar Rock

Like a cedar tree splitting stone on a mountaintop, I’ve built my path from the hard stuff.

I didn’t start in a boardroom. I started in the dirt—boots on the ground, serving in the United States Air Force. For over a decade, I led outstanding teams and followed great leaders in high-pressure, high-stakes environments around the world. It was there, among the discipline, chaos, boredom, and impossible missions, that I first learned what real leadership meant. You don’t grow in ideal conditions. You grow because you must.

After my service, I transitioned into the private sector—not an easy shift. But again, growth isn’t about easy. I took the same grit and structure I learned in the military and applied it to the business world: first in mechanical engineering, then in technical consulting, then leading projects and sales teams for some of the most respected names in design, engineering, and technology.

Over the years, I’ve become the go-to when things are complex, messy, or mission-critical. I’ve helped companies solve engineering problems, clarify their vision and mission, drive revenue, implement business systems, and deliver results when the margin for error was razor thin.
