Autodesk Forma Build Cost Management and Insight Administrator Training
This two-day, instructor-led course prepares administrators to configure, manage, and support Autodesk Forma Build Cost Management and Insight.
Participants will learn how to set up financial workflows, permissions, approval processes, templates, reporting standards, and dashboards that support consistent project controls and decision-making.
This course is intended for project administrators, account administrators, cost-management administrators, project controls professionals, and technology managers.
Course Duration
Two days, eight hours per day.
Course Topics
Topics may include:
- Cost Management settings and configuration
- Budgets, contracts, and payment application settings
- Change orders, approval workflows, and financial markups
- Forecasting and cash-flow settings
- Document templates and packages
- Roles, permissions, and access controls
- Cost reports and exports
- Insight dashboards, reports, and sharing standards
Prerequisites and Requirements
Participants should have completed Cost Management end-user training or have equivalent experience.
Each participant must have:
- An active Autodesk Forma Build license with access to Cost Management and Insight
- Access to the training project
- Required administrative permissions
- A properly configured workstation and internet connection
Autodesk licenses and software access are not provided by Cedar Rock Consulting.
Course Exclusions
General Autodesk Forma Build end-user workflows, mobile-app training, ERP implementation, and third-party accounting-system configuration are not included.
About the Instructor
The instructor has extensive experience teaching, implementing, and supporting Autodesk solutions for organizations ranging from small businesses to multinational companies.
The instructor developed the Autodesk Forma Build Cost Management and Insight curriculum used in this course, which is also delivered through Global eTraining.
