Autodesk Forma Build Admin Training

Autodesk Forma Build Administrator Training

This two-day, instructor-led course prepares project administrators and system administrators to configure, manage, and support Autodesk Forma Build projects.

Participants will learn how to establish project standards, configure tools, manage members and companies, assign permissions, create templates, and support consistent project workflows. The course focuses on the administrative decisions that affect how project teams access information, collaborate, and complete work across Autodesk Forma Build.

Topics may include Hub and Project administration, project creation, member and company management, roles and permissions, tool activation, naming standards, templates, notification settings, document-management configuration, and the administrative setup of commonly used Build tools.

The course also addresses governance, standardization, security, and practical administration strategies designed to reduce inconsistent processes and improve user adoption across projects.

This training is intended for project administrators, account administrators, technology managers, BIM or VDC leaders, and employees responsible for configuring or supporting Autodesk Forma Build.

Course Duration

Two days, eight hours per day.

Prerequisites and Access Requirements

Participants should have completed Autodesk Forma Build End User Training or possess equivalent experience using the platform’s primary project workflows.

Participants must also have access to an active Autodesk Forma Build license, a properly configured workstation, and the appropriate Autodesk account or project administrative permissions needed to complete the course exercises.

Autodesk software licenses are not included with the course and are not provided by Cedar Rock Consulting. Participants or their employers are responsible for purchasing, assigning, and verifying all required software licenses and permissions before the class date.

Course Exclusions

Autodesk Forma Build Cost Management and Autodesk Construction Cloud Insight are not included in this course. These tools require separate training because of their specialized financial, reporting, analytics, configuration, and administrative workflows.
